Every thing was perfect.. it felt like home from home! This is the 4th time we’ve visited the cottage and still love coming every year. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and some amazing extra touches with gift boxes etc the cottage is the cleanest holiday home we’ve ever stayed in.

Y Bwthyn is a holiday home in Tal-gareg with access to a garden. Boasting free private parkin. The cottage is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as Cycling, Canoeing , Paddle boarding, or just relax. This stone cottage was once the home of Dewi Emrys the famous bard. It contains period features and modern facilities, such as a wood burner. This 2-bedroom holiday home comes with a seating area, a satellite TV and a kitchen with a dishwasher. Grocery deliveries can also be accommodated. Lawn chairs and a barbecue are supplied for summer and autumn months. Aberystwyth is 34 km from the holiday home, while Carmarthen is 31 km from the property. Y Bwthyn is a holiday home Nr New Quay Ceredigion Please note THAT NOT all speed limits are 20 mph in Ceredigion a lot of them have been left at 30 or 40 mph.

This pretty stone Cottage was once the home of Dewi Emrys the famous bard which has been lovingly renovated to a high standard (Google street View is an old picture ) with all traditional features and modern comforts making it a perfect escape for a couple or small family in a small quiet rural village location Full modern comforts available at the cottage together with a log burner. There is also a travel cot , bed guard and high chair ,together with stair gates fitted on both end of the stairs . All basic requirments are supplied i.e. Tea Coffee, Sugar, Kitchen roll, Toilet paper and Milk . It is only approx 6 miles from the coast of Ceredigion .The Paddlers Canoe Center is also within 5 miles and the West Wales Karting Center within 3 miles . I am sure there is plenty to keep everyone entertained but if it is more of a relaxing break there are lovely country walks around the Talgarreg area and to finish your day there is a very welcoming Village pub across the road from the cottage which do evening meals . We will accommodate weekend / mid week or weekly bookings . 1 small dog will be accepted free of charge
Tony & Gwen welcome you to Y Bwthyn for a relaxing, memorable and enjoyable break . We try and making everyone's break as stress free as possible by making sure the cottage is well equipped and that everything is at hand .It is a home from home There will be a true Welsh Croeso at Y Bwthyn
The Ceredigion Coast is only approx 6 miles from the property with the seaside towns of Aberaeron ,New Quay ,Llangrannog , Tresaith . Penbryn, and Poppit sands , The Ceredigion Coastal Path and the NT LLanerchaeron with the Aeron Valley Cycle path all within 20 minutes drive The university towns of Aberystwyth and Lampeter and also the famous castle of Cardigan which has recently been restored to its former glory .The famous Cardigan Bay Dolphin trips are within 6 miles with daily trips out to the bay to spot the dolphins .Crabbing at Aberaeron Harbour and finish off the day with Fish and Chips on the Harbour wall and a Honey Ice Cream or a pint.
