Utopia Apartments is a traditional Cornish Stone house in Perranporth. It is split into 3 apartments. On the first floor are our 2 holiday lets - Penhale and Droskyn. We live in the downstairs apartment, (which we sometimes let out during the summer). Penhale ('Apartment with Sea View') sleeps up to 3. It has sea views, open plan kitchen dining area and lounge, separate shower room and bedroom (sofa bed in lounge for 3rd guest). Droskyn ('One Bedroom Apartment') sleeps 2. At the rear of the property with a view over Perranporth, an open plan kitchen/dinning area, separate bedroom and shower room. Both apartments have electric heating and heated towel rails. Cost of electricity is included in the price. We accept one dog per booking. We don't currently charge extra for the dog, on the understanding that guests are as well behaved as their pets, keep them off the furniture & don't leave them alone in the apartments. Utopia is a short walk from town with restaurants, bars and shops and the 3 mile long sandy beach, which means you don't have to drive anywhere. The beach is very dog-friendly, as are most pubs, cafes & restaurants. One parking space per apartment is provided.
Utopia is run by Paul and Lou. We have lived here for a couple of years (Paul was brought up here) and both also work as walking leaders. Our aim is to give our guests a warm welcome whilst providing clean and modern self catering apartments in an old Cornish cottage. If you have any questions about what there is to do in Perranporth and the surrounding area then please ask. We can also recommend lots of good local walks!
Perranporth is a very popular holiday location on the North Cornish coastline. It boasts a 3 mile long golden sand beach that is open to the Atlantic swell, making it a popular surfing destination. However if surfing is not your thing, there are loads of other things to do from walking along the cliff paths, golf on famous links course, tennis, paragliding, skydiving, horse riding, or just chilling on the beach. There is also the famous Watering Hole - the pub/restaurant on the beach, which is a fabulous place to enjoy a drink and watch the breathtaking sunsets. Perranporth is also a great base to explore other great attractions in Cornwall, it is centrally located with easy access to the A30, making day trips to Land End, St Ives, Newquay, the Eden Project very accessible.
