The host was very friendly and gave us great tip about where to get dinner Breakfast was very tasty and "beyond" continental standard The room was well equipped and cozy. For example, there were ready-to-plugin charging stations for USBs, makeup removal towels and other extras.

A 15-minute walk from Pitlochry Festival Theatre, The Well House Bed and Breakfast has a 4-star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board. It offers en suite rooms, free parking and WiFi and a continental breakfast. Each room has a TV and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite shower with hairdryer and toiletries provided. One double room is on the ground floor and is accessible by those with mobility difficulties. There is also a bright guests’ lounge with newspapers and magazines. A continental breakfast is served in the spacious dining room, with a variety of cereals, porridge, seasonal fresh fruit, cold meats, fish, breads and croissants set out for the guests to help themselves. The Well House is around 14 minutes’ walk from the Blair Athol Whisky Distillery, which offers visitor tours. Less than 1 mile south of Tay Forest Park, Pitlochry's Festival Theatre stages a diverse range of productions and incorporates a bar and restaurant with beautiful views of the River Tummel.
