Claire and Dave run this fabulous B&B set in beautiful countryside location. We were made very welcome and our host were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were superb. We couldn’t fault our stay and if we visit the area again in the future then we know exactly where we will stay. Thank you Claire and Dave for a lovely stay 👏👍

Welcome to The School House B&B near Ludlow in Shropshire where you can relax and enjoy the quiet Shropshire Hills. We have three spacious rooms, each of which has its own unique features. All rooms are en-suite with powerful showers. Large sofas, silent fridges and televisions are in each room. Wi-fi is available throughout the house. One of our rooms, Brineddin, has its own private lounge. The ground floor room, Redlake, has its own private entrance. Your delicious breakfast will be served in the large breakfast room. Lots of lovely homemade and locally sourced items are available. We have a 5 star food hygiene rating. We can prepare a ‘bedroom picnic’ for you to enjoy in the evening. The School House is ideally located for you to enjoy the best of South Shropshire. The medieval town of Ludlow is nearby as are many National Trust properties with their ornamental gardens. The Shropshire Hills are great for walkers to discover. It is a popular area for cyclists too. We have one 7.2kW electric vehicle charge point which guests can use overnight free of charge during 2023. Please see our website policy. We would love to see you soon.
Clare and Dave love meeting guests and telling them about what Shropshire has to offer. They have extensive knowledge of the area and can help guests plan their day if they are looking for advice. Clare tries to use as many homemade and local products as possible when preparing meals.
We are located in a rural location within the Shropshire Hills and there are plenty of walks that can be done either from our doorstep or from surrounding areas such as the Long Mynd. Ludlow with its medieval castle and variety of markets is a short drive away. There are several other historical properties including Croft Castle, Berrington Hall and Powis Castle nearby.
