Osprey is located on the Portnellan Estate and offers tasteful 4 star self catering accommodation sleeping up to 4 people with bathroom and open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Comprising of 2 bedrooms, one with a king sized double bed and a further twin bedroom both with fitted mirrored wardrobes. Osprey has recently been refurbished to include all new wood affect flooring, designer curtains and soft furnishings by Catriona McGeoch of Sula Furnishings and low energy lighting. A fitted kitchen with all mod cons to include a washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob/oven, microwave open plan living and dining. Step from this area through a sliding patio door onto a private West facing balcony with garden furniture and marvel at a spectacular glen view and surrounding mountains. The chalet is equipped with a LCD TV with freeview SKY, Blu Ray DVD, Wi-Fi is available as well free of charge. Weber BBQ hire is available. There is even an onsite visitor centre with a small essentials shop, fresh organic meat from a farm locally for sale (perfect for a BBQ or home cooking), a selction of Lucy's Taylormade meals, local information, a varied selection of board games and DVDs.

Situated in the heart of the central Highlands of Scotland with spectacular loch, glen and mountain views all around Osprey's setting is magnificent where a true highland landscape awaits you and it is often complimented on the abundance of bird and wild life that can be regularly seen. It is not unusual to see the deer meandering off the hill and passing nearby the property. Portnellan Estate is the perfect base for exploring Central/West Scotland with known landmarks only a short distance away. Oban 45 minutes, Stirling, Fort William and Glasgow just over 1 hour and Edinburgh a 90 min drive. Glen Coe and all it beholds is less than 40 mins drive and the bonnie shores of Loch Lomond are 20 mins by car. Other areas include the truly beautiful Glen Lyon and Loch Tay, Glen Etive, Glen Lochay and Glen Orchy all within the local area.
