Set in the heart of Kenton and 8 miles away from Exeter, The Old Vicarage offers spacious rooms with free parking on site. Motorway A379 is only a 1-minute drive. The house, built in 1812, features rooms with en suite bathroom facilities. Flat-screen TV with a DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities are also included in each room. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room. There are 3 restaurants and a village shop within a short walking distance of The Old Vicarage. Powderham Castle is less than a mile away. Powderham Park is a 4-minute drive. Dawlish is a 15-minute drive away and Teignmouth is 9 miles.

A warm welcome will always await you at the Old Vicarage Bed and Breakfast in Kenton, near Exeter. The house, built in 1812, is a fine regency rectory in the heart of the friendly Devon village of Kenton, which boasts not only a fine local pub but two marvellous restaurants and is the location of Powderham Castle, the seat of the Earl of Devon. Stay with us and you will be in striking distance of the fine old city of Exeter, the birdlife of the Exe Estuary and the picturesque coastal resorts of Dawlish and Teignmouth - all reachable by regular buses. A short drive and you may sample the wild spaces of Dartmoor or the charming towns of Totnes, Dartington and Dartmouth. The house is set in its own grounds, in which there is ample parking space. As we offer only two rooms for bed and breakfast, you can expect individual service and a quiet stay: not the boarding house experience! The Amethyst Room has a king bed, the Camomile Room can be either king or twin. Each room has a flat screen TV with FreeView, free Wi-Fi wireless internet, a hair dryer, and a hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits.
