Super comfy beds, high quality bed linen and a well equipped kitchen mean that you can eat in or enjoy one of the many eateries in the local area. Set in a tucked away location just off the beaten track, relax in the orchard with a book or walk in the local nature reserves and spot deer, foxes, badgers and red kites flying overhead. The Little Bothy has it's own courtyard with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue is available during the summer months. The orchard is also yours to walk in, or sit and have coffee or a glass of wine. Off road secure parking is available for two cars.

Having lived in the area for many years, we moved to Old Sulehay Cottages in 2014 and have been transforming it ever since! Our horses live at home with us, together with two dogs and the farm cat. the setting of the property is second to none and we are surrounded by three Nature Reserves, all a stones throw from the gate. We love the peace and tranquility of living here and hope you relax and enjoy it as much as we do.

Stamford is just a 10 minute drive away. With it's has artisan cafes, shops and restaurants, it is also home to Burghley House, which was built by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587. The house is a sightseeing must and also offers beautiful gardens to explore. Take a picnic - entry to the park and grounds is free. It is also home to the world famous Burghley Horse Trials. A few miles away is the lovely restored station where you can begin a trip on the Nene Valley Railway and experience steam train travel from a bygone age. Offering boat hire on the River Nene, Oundle is close by. Surrounded on three sides by the river, it is a beautiful stone built market town, which has served the surrounding valleys since Saxon times. Peterborough, with its beautiful Norman cathedral is just 20 minutes away, and offers great shopping and eateries. Rutland Water is just a 20-minute drive away and offers great leisure activities including a water side stroll, sailing and windsurfing classes, and bike hire.
