The Croft Guest House is set in an acre of gardens overlooking Cockwood Harbour and the Exe estuary, 1.6 km from Starcross and 3.7 km from Powderham Castle. Free off-road parking is available and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the property. All guest rooms in the bed and breakfast are fitted with an en suite shower room, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. A full English breakfast is served in the dining room, and guests can relax in the bar and lounge. There are 2 pubs opposite The Anchor Inn&The Ship Inn - Both a 2 minute walk. Guests receive 10% Discount at the Ship Inn only. Haldon Forestry Commission woodlands is 12.8 km away. Exeter International Airport is 13 km away.

The Croft a 4 star bed and breakfast ideally set in an acre of secluded gardens overlooking picturesque Cockwood Harbour & the Exe estuary.Once part of the Powderham Castle estate. Cockwood Harbour is a small picturesque harbour which is positioned on the Exe River,This natural tidal harbour with its hillside backdrop,boats enter the harbour under two railway arches which are the legacy of Isambard Kingdom Brunel where steam trains can still be seen today. The village of Cockwood has pretty cottages,& houses which rise gently around the harbour which once saw fishermen & smugglers busy at work here,Today though the Harbour is enjoyed by colourful boats,Swans & Geese which flock here. Large Village Green, local shops nearby selling that essential purchase, & 2 fabulous Inns,one of which dates as far back as 450 years.Walkers will enjoy a stroll along the harbour Private Grounds & Car Parking (Guest Only) Spacious Gardens & wooded areas for nature lovers and discreet sunbathers. The Guest House has been around for over 30 years - We have personally run the Guest House since August 2006 and over the years have many regular guests whom are now "Friends" Have animal wildlife and theatrical interests apart from many other hobbies.
