The Boathouse is beautifully presented to the highest standards. Stairs from the large ground floor entrance (with WC and basin) lead up to the huge living room with architectural feature windows running the full length of the room, offering a light, open aspect and wonderful views (please note these windows have no opaque coverings). Patio doors give access out to the balcony overlooking the harbour. The room has lovely wooden flooring with underfloor heating and combines a comfortable seating area with leather suite, smart TV, wireless sound system and WiFi, and a dining area with large table and chairs adjacent to the kitchen area. The smart, well-equipped kitchen incorporates electric double oven, steam oven and warming drawer, large fridge/freezer with ice making and water filter facility, wine cooler, microwave and dishwasher. There is a separate utility/drying room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, also on this floor. The four bedrooms each have en suite facilities. A corridor leads to two comfortable twin bedrooms, each with a compact en suite shower room, and a second games/sitting room with comfortable seating, smart TV, woodburning stove and table tennis.

Porthmadog is situated in a stunning coastal location at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. This bustling small town has a comprehensive range of shops and restaurants and a pretty conservation quayside and is also home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Steam Railway, a must for children and adults of any age. Just around the corner is the Victorian seaside resort of Borth y Gest with its pretty harbour, sheltered beach and lovely walking along the coast to sheltered coves with stunning views down the welsh coastline. Black Rock Sands, with its large golden beach has areas where car access is allowed so is perfect for boats and jet skis. A short drive down the coast is the famous Italianate village of Portmerion, full of charm and history, in a beautiful location with delightful walks and gardens. The historic castles and pretty villages at Criccieth and Harlech are also within easy reach. Within half an hour's drive you can be exploring the coastal paths of the Lleyn Peninsula or the mountains and lakes of the Snowdonia National Park with mountain walking, rock climbing, kayaking and cycling or just travelling around sightseeing.
