St Davids is a late 19th century townhouse situated in the heart of the popular seaside town of Ventnor on the Island's south coast. Close to amenities, restaurants, cafes and the stunning coastline & beach it is perfectly placed for a memorable seaside or walking holiday on the Isle of Wight. Sleeping 6 there are two twin bedrooms one with en-suite shower, one double bedroom, lounge, kitchen, dining room and family bathroom. Parking to the rear of the property for one car. This Victorian seaside town offers buildings full of character. There’s lovely sandy or fine shingle beaches and an esplanade which is all within a short stroll from the house. In addition to the main shopping street where you will find a selection of small supermarkets to include a Co-op and Tesco Express, there are parks and gardens, museums and the Winter Gardens - an entertainment venue with a growing reputation for its theatre, its concerts and comedy and dance shows. Ventnor Botanic Garden lies in the remarkable microclimate at the heart of the famous 'Undercliff.' This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk downs.

Ventnor Town Ventnor on the South of the Isle of Wight is a traditional seaside resort, and one of Britain's most famous Victorian health resorts due to its unique micro-climate. The town lies beneath St Boniface Down (the highest point on the Isle of Wight) and for the most part is built on the side of a steep hill leading down to the seafront and beach. The beach huts that line the back of the beach are converted Victorian “bathing machines” and are available to hire, along with deckchairs. Ventnor has plenty of things to do both in the town and nearby. Ventnor Beach is a great suntrap, and the sand and shingle beach is great for sunbathing and family swimming. Ventnor Harbour and the bandstand development are very prominent on the seafront and offer a great viewing platform to look out to sea, and the Ventnor Haven Fishery sells the best in local crab and lobster. On the main promenade there is a traditional arcade with a range of amusements, then opposite the harbour the spectacular Cascade Gardens run down the side of the cliff where the main road zig-zags its way back up into the main town.
