Nestled in the picturesque Yeo Valley just 3 miles from the historic town of Bideford in Devon, South Yeo is a charming and relaxing place to stay. The house itself has 16th Century origins but was remodelled in the Georgian era to create a beautiful, and unique warm family home. We invite you to stay with us in our Bed and Breakfast rooms which are individually and thoughtfully decorated. Set in 15 acres we have 2 walled gardens, an orchard and various meadows to wander through, or just sit in the garden and relax! On colder days enjoy the log fire and cosy atmosphere after a day exploring the area. Delicious breakfast is prepared using our own eggs and local produce and served in the sunny dining room. PLEASE NOTE !!! DO NOT USE SAT NAV to find us as it doesn’t take you to our property! Please follow the following from Bideford Take the A386 to Torrington. After 1 mile turn right at Landcross to Buckland Brewer, Bradworthy and Parkham. Follow the road for 4 miles (DO NOT TURN LEFT FOR BUCKLAND BREWER) and as you emerge through the avenue of beech trees after 1/4mile you will see a small sign on the left to South Yeo. Turn up this road and then we are just up on the left.

We are situated approximately 3 miles from the South West Coastal path, 3 miles from Bideford and 4 miles from RHS Rosemoor. Other local attractions include Appledore (Quaint fishing village with lovely pubs), Westward Ho! (huge sandy safe beach, dogs welcome!), Clovelly ( Cobbled street and fishing village) Hartland Quay and Abbey (Coastal beauty spot and historic country house) Croyde, Saunton, Exmoor and Dartmoor are all within easy reach. We have a very nice local pubs The Coach and Horses at Buckland Brewer which is always popular and The Bell in Parkham which offers a traditional and friendly atmosphere. Guests love the setting and atmosphere of South Yeo, it oozes charm and warmth any time of the year.
