Staff was friendly- loved the two dogs - the staff went out of their way to cook us an early breakfast as we was going out for the day -think we might have been spoilt that day as the next day the portions wasn’t as big - room was spacious

Staff were friendly ,nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was amazing , bed extremely comfortable,...location perfect only 15 minute walk from centre . Ideal for what we needed we will be back.

The breakfast was amazing, owner was so kind and helpful, I got to hang out with her two cute pugs and my room was super comfortable and quiet. Excellent experience. And it’s a great location! There is a bit of a hill to get to the city center but that worked just fine for me - only a 20 min walk.

The room was small, but it was big enough for one guest. It was clean, including the shower and toilet. The shower was powerful and hot. It was cosy and warm. The staff were polite and very helpful. The room had a choice of drinks and some lovely shortbread. The breakfast offered a good choice and I particularly liked the black pudding. The coffee was good and the dining area spacious and light.

The breakfast, cereal cooked meal fruit cake, just a great value B&B, touch tired but after a day walking so was I and my bed was comfy. And 2 friendly pugs at breakfast..if the owner is an animal lover what is there to critisize ???

The staff were lovely and breakfast was good. Location is about a 20 min walk from the centre, but there is a bus just round the corner which can take you to the castle then it's only a 5 minute walk. Very cute dogs said hello in the morning. Lady let me check in an hour earlier so I didn't have to carry my luggage around Edinburgh. Bedroom was small but cosy and warm.
