Set in 4 acres just off the main A477, this 4 star guest house and cottage is an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Pen-y-Bont Guest House was originally part of the Cloby Estate and for many years it was a turkey farm supplying amongst others Harrods! It has operated as a guest house for over 60years. Five years ago it underwent extensive alterations and all rooms are now en-suite with wet rooms. The guest house itself is set in 4 acres of beautiful grounds, which guests never fail to comment on. There are several seating areas where guests can relax and enjoy their surroundings. As well as offering traditional bed and breakfast accommodation Pen-y-Bont organizes special interest holidays and retreats. These are suitable for friends, couples or people traveling alone and provide the opportunity to meet like minded people, learn a new skill and explore Pembrokeshire.
Pembrokeshire has lots to offer to both young and old and we will be delighted to share our knowledge of the area with you so that you can maximize your time here and see and do things which are of particular interest to you. We want to make your holiday special.
The sandy beaches of Amroth, Tenby and Saundersfoot are all in close proximity. Amroth is the nearest beach area and it is only a few minutes car drive. For the more energetic there is a pleasant walk down through the woods passing through Colby woodland gardens, a National Trust property. Lifts back can be arranged! Amroth is also the start of the186 miles national park coastal path. The busy little town of Narberth is only ten minutes away. With its unique range of shops - antiques, craft, quality clothing, cafes and restaurants its a shopping experience with a difference. The ferry ports of Pembroke Dock and Fishguard are just a short drive away making this an ideal stopover for people on their way to or from Ireland.

    Directions:

    From Carmarthen take the main road in the direction of St. Clears. At the roundabout take the first exit marked Tenby (A477). Keep on this road until you see a sign for Llanteg. Pen-y-Bont Guests House is 2.1 miles from this sign, on the right hand side of the road. The entrance to the drive is indicated, and there are hatched markings on the road outside the property.

    If coming from the Pembroke Dock, take the A477 towards Carmarthen. When you reach the Kilgetty roundabout keep going towards Carmarthen. Pen-y-Bont is approximately 3 miles from the roundabout on the left hand side of the road, opposite the turning to Amroth.
