Dairy Cottage is a very well done conversion of part of the range of buildings associated with Munden House. Colin and Annie are attentive hosts and provide a really good environment in which to relax and enjoy this stunning part of southern England. There are plenty of opportunities for walks, including into nearby Sherborne, but it is hilly! Oxford's Bakery is right next door offering breads and cakes (otherwise buy them in their shop in Sherborne) and also teas / coffees etc. Breakfast in Dairy Cottage is provided, really nice.

Located 3 miles from the historic abbey town of Sherborne, Munden House offers modern accommodation in a farm building with original period features. The three self contained cottages are private and each has a fully equipped kitchen, and an en-suite shower room. There is a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wifi. The beds are made with Egyptian cotton linen, soft feather duvets and pillows. A luxury Continental breakfast for the first morning is included in the price. This includes stewed fruit from the garden, bread from Oxfords Bakery next door, home made muesli, marmalade, jams, fruit juice and yogurt. Free private parking is offered to all guests.

Three self contained and very private cottages with access to extensive and beautiful gardens. A king size bed with Egyptian cotton linen, en-suite shower room and complimentary toiletries. Each cottage is well equipped for self catering but we offer a luxury continental breakfast for the first morning, included in the price, WIFI is also included. A peaceful and comfortable place to stay whilst exploring the stunning Dorset countryside and coast.. The ancient abbey town of Sherborne with a great selection of independent shops and restaurants is a five minute drive away.
Sherborne is a five minute drive away and other nearby towns include Shaftesbury with it's famous Hovis Golden Hill, Sturminster Newton and Wimborne. There are numerous picturesque villages and village pubs in rolling Dorset countryside. Walking in the area is wonderful, peaceful and varied. The Jurassic coast is less than forty bfive minutes away offering beaches such as Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach and many others as well as the coastal towns of Weymouth and Lyme Regis.
