Location was where we wanted. Excellent breakfast. The whole experience was relaxed. Sarah was there to chat and answer questions. She was never intrusive. She made sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay.

Located near Helston in the Cornish countryside, Monterey Pines Bed & Breakfast offers free parking and complimentary WiFi. I live in a rural area 3 miles from the historical town of Helston, I have a lovely friendly home with 2 double en-suite rooms and a wonderful breakfast room in the sunny conservatory with distance views to the sea also lovely to watch the sun set. Plenty of parking and a garden that you are welcome to sit in.
Hi I am Sarah and have been in the hospitality trade from 1998. I ran a 4* Silver Award Guest House for 18 years and really enjoy what I do. I brought Monterey Pines B & B in August 2016 after deciding to slow down my pace of life but did not want to stop doing what I enjoyed. I have made so many friends over the years from the previous Guest House and after 1 week of moving to Monterey I had our regulars coming to stay as they said they would not stay anywhere else, this was a great compliment to myself and I look forward to meet new guests. I like to make homemade cards & love walking along the endless amount of cliff top walks that look out to the sea, and visiting local attractions and visiting one of my favourite places which is Godrevy. I have friendly cats & dogs.
I live in a rural area but are very well located to reach a lot of Cornwall. We are 3 miles from Helston which is a historical town which host the flora day an annual event. Porthleven is 3 miles and is a lovely harbour with many places to eat and drink. Praa sands is 5 miles away and has a great sandy beach with pub and café. Flambards is 3.5 miles which is a family fun park with a back in time village, Helston very own steam railway 2 miles. Please be advised that there is NO local transport. We hope you will come and stay and I can tell you a lot more of my favourite places to visit.
