Mill House, is a charming old town house 5 minutes walk from the center of Sudbury town with a large garden down to the river Stour & Water Meadows. The house & gardens are well kept by the owners Peter & Maria (and not forgetting the pampered pooches) & enjoys the best view of Sudbury, pond & meadows. Peter & Maria, have a plethora of local knowledge of the local sites of interest and things to do during your stay. Double bedrooms are large and comfortable with river views, one with a balcony. Each has a private bathroom. Toiletries, hairdryer, toweling bathrobes, cotton sheets and feather quilts/blankets, all contribute to make your stay as comfortable and special. Enjoy a pot of tea or coffee and homemade cakes or a drink in the gardens, balcony or elevated conservatory soaking in the bucolic atmosphere of the river pond and meadows and watch the wildlife. Breakfast is simple with a variety of locally sourced, fresh produce, fresh fruit juice, homemade preserves, bread and cold meats, fruits, free range eggs etc. Due to the corona virus, breakfast is optional and subject to availability. Please join us, bring your dog if you like and relax in the Suffolk peace.

Peter & Maria, as local residents for over 25 years, have a plethora of local knowledge. There are many local sites of interest such as Flatford Mill, Christchurch Mansion, Long Melford Hall, Gainsborough House to name but a few.

Mill House is over 100 years old but has been well kept and renovated by the current owners Peter & Maria (and not forgetting our pampered pooches).
