Mallard is a stone-built, semi-detached farmhouse conversion located on a working livestock farm in beautiful rolling countryside, just one mile from Bolton-by-Bowland, near Clitheroe, and can sleep eight people. This cottage has a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms, a ground floor twin bedroom, a bathroom, a ground floor wet room, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a cosy open fire. Outside there is off road parking for four cars, bike storage and an enclosed garden patio with furniture and a children’s play castle. Set in the Forest of Bowland, Mallard is a lovely base for your holiday.

The Yorkshire Dales village of Bolton-by-Bowland is in the Ribble Valley and has a shop, two pubs serving food and a tea room. The Ribble Valley is an AONB, while nearby Clitheroe offers a whole host of amenities including a very interesting sausage shop. The area is ideal for touring the Lakes and the Dales.
