The Property is set in the most idillic location of Cornwall, Close to mevagissey’s coast it is a prime spot to relax and unwind for a few days. The Property itself is stunning, you can clearly see how much hard work that the owners have put in over the years. Situated between valleys and rolling fields makes this stay the most tranquil spot I have personally visited.

This award-winning boutique guest house is situated in the heart of the Cornish countryside, just 3 miles from the beach. You can enjoy fresh breakfast each morning and scenic walks in the surrounding area. With a hot tub in the property's own walled garden, Lower Barns Guest House is the ideal place to enjoy tranquility under the stars. Other rooms have unique features including a sauna or a fireplace. Each elegant suite is individually decorated with vibrant colours and bespoke furniture. All rooms have luxurious duckdown duvets and soft cotton sheets, as well as garden views, a flat-screen TV, and en suite bathrooms. Lower Barns Guest House serves a hearty breakfast each morning, with food made from local ingredients. Food is served around a huge dining table in the conservatory overlooking the garden. Evening meals are based around rustic home-cooking, and can be provided if booked in advance. With free Wi-Fi and free parking on site, Lower Barns Guest House is only a 20-minute drive from Truro. St Austell can be reached in 15 minutes’ drive.

This place is what you get when you take two wonderful, well travelled people full of positive spirit and kind intent, blend the colours sounds, sights, scents and sensations of great intentions and marry them with the sumptuous vision and authenticity of the most genuine human beings you'll have the honour to meet. Lower Barns is an oasis set away from life's complex and feckless nonsense; a Cornish cornucopia bursting with character and a luxurious island of tranquility. Just read the reviews. Then realise that they still don't do justice to to this place. The do yourself a favour and book for as long as you can. Yes, it's that highly recommended and we've been to some amazing places, the world round. We recently had our elopement wedding at Lower Barns and what a fantastic time we had. The whole process from initial contact to the actual wedding day itself was stress free and easy
