A cosy little cottage with comfy beds and set in lovely grounds. The kids and dog loved the gardens especially. The kitchen has a full range of utensils etc and there was welcome greeting of milk in the fridge, biscuits, tea and coffee bags. The owners are particularly friendly and offer good advice on where to go out, favourite beaches etc. As a family we loved Roskillys being in walkable distance, best cooked breakfast we've ever had.

Longhouse sits in a two acre garden just outside the village of St Keverne on the Lizard Peninsular. This detached cottage has one double bedroom and one twin which with the addition of a family bathroom makes it suitable for four people. Travel cot and highchair available on request. There is also a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. Outside the cottage is shared use of a two acre garden with outdoor furniture and off road parking for two cars. Just one mile from the coast, Longhouse is a quintessentially English country cottage.

The village of St Keverne lies on the eastern side of The Lizard Peninsula just 1.25 miles inland with its village pubs and shops surrounding the village square, and an impressive church spire, at one time used to guide the Cornish fishermen home. From St Keverne you can explore the spectacular beauty of the Lizard Peninsula by car, bicycle or on foot. You will find tiny secret coves, sandy bays and dramatic cliff walks along the South West Coastal path. Just north is the Helford River, a yachtsman's dream and home to Frenchman's Creek, and picturesque Helford village. Further afield visit Falmouth with one of the largest natural harbours, Pendennis Castle built by Henry VIII, and of course you cannot miss out on a trip to The National Maritime Museum.
