The hosts really care about their property and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. We also appreciated the use of their jump leads! The property has gorgeous views and the hosts are happy for you to use their lovely garden.

Everything was perfect. The gardens surrounding the property were exceptional both in design and in the level of attention to detail. It felt like being at the Chelsea Flower Show every day. The cottage offered everything you needed for a perfect holiday. There was nothing missing that you would want - great “home from home” experience. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed incredibly comfortable. We were lucky with gorgeous weather all week - so all in - the perfect stay! Having such lovely hosts nearby was a bonus - Jill and Malcolm were able to offer great tips on local places to visit and things to do.

Well presented cottage with everything that you can possibly need.... the property was very clean and lots of information was provided of how to use everything... Jill and Malcolm were lovely, so welcoming and friendly ... the Gardens were extremely beautiful and the views from the back of the cottage were stunning.... can not recommend this Lea View Cottage enough

The Cottage was beautifully appointed and furnished, providing everything we could have wished for during our stay. The remarkable gardens the graced the property added to the enchantment of our stay and created a haven of tranquility that was a joy to experience. Exceptional cottage nestled in a beautiful picturesque location. The property itself has been professionally and superbly renovated to an extremely high standard. Every room has been fitted and furnished in an admirable manner. The kitchen and two bathrooms are exceptional in size and quality. The cleanliness of the cottage is exemplary. The downstairs lounge is equipped with a modern tv and music system. The lounge on the mezzanine floor has a tv and a good choice of board games, as well as gorgeous views across Lea Hall and onto the Dales. Parking for 2-3 cars is within the properties gated grounds. The gardens are magnificent, kept pristine and a pleasure to stroll around in. The gardens included an outdoor dining table and chairs, and the large gas barbeque was perfect for our family. The owners Jill and Malcolm are so friendly and helpful and made us feel so very welcome. This is the best property we have stayed in and we will certainly return.

I can honestly say this is the most beautiful place I've stayed for a short break. The property has been fitted and decorated to an exceptional standard and was just so comfortable. The garden is incredible and provided such a wonderful extended area to relax in. Our hosts met us as we arrived and provided all the information we could need (having provided a thorough welcome pack before we travelled). They were just next door if any problems arose, which of course they didn't. It really felt like a home from home, allowing us to make the most of a long sunny bank holiday weekend.

Jill and Malcolm were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was immaculate, a great spec with everything we could need. It had the most gorgeous garden which we made full use of while we were there due to the amazing weather, including a barbecue. It’s in a lovely location, a short walk to a nice local pub. Our favourite day trips were cycling the Monsal Trail and the Crich Tramway Museum.
