We offer an immaculate, fully insulated, heated, snug, welcoming one bedroom flat four miles from Beauly. It is separate from the main dwelling giving you privacy and your own space along with your own parking. Our property is set in three & half acres, on the edge of our woodland overlooking fields and hills beyond. It is a haven for wildlife which changes through the seasons, roe deer are often seen wandering through the grounds. Along with our woods is a marsh land giving an ideal breeding ground for frogs in early Spring. Herons, dragon and damsel flies in summer. We offer a continental breakfast, cereals, breads, yogurts, fruit, cheeses, cold meat and eggs to ensure you have variety, which will be found waiting for you to enjoy at your leisure. The local village offers a number of restaurants for evening meals but there is an oven and hob so you can heat up your own meals if you just want a quiet night in. We hope you'll understand though, we try to discourage strong smelling foods. We offer our guests space but are always on call should there be anything you need.

Your host, Claire will greet you on arrival and will happily guide you in the right direction to local attractions, restaurants and surrounding walks. Her interests in particular are gardening, photography and wildlife.

Kilmorack is situated 4 miles out of Beauly in some beautiful scenery. There are local walks, ranging from a gentle stroll by the River Beauly or embark on more strenuous hikes starting from our property, up through woodlands and on to the moors, where red deer are found wandering the hills. Beauly itself has plenty of history including the Fraser Clan and the Priory. There is a choice of traditional restaurants including Indian, Chinese takeaway and a fish & chip shop, also gift and art shops. Beauly also offers Pipers practicing in the square every Thursday in the summer month evenings. During the day we recommend the Corner on the Square or Biagiotti, an Italian café in the village, both offering a choice of teas, cakes and lunches. We are ideally situated for access to the surrounding glens (Affric and Strathfarrer), lochs, dams & for the enthusiastic hikers, there are a number of Munro mountains.
