A 1-minute walk from Weymouth’s beach and Esplanade, Kelston Guest House offers high-quality bed and breakfast on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. This family-run guest house provides free WiFi and full English breakfasts, and has free parking nearby. Accessed by stairs only, each guest room has a flat-screen TV, USB sockets, alarm clock, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Rooms have use of an en suite or private external bathroom with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. A DVD player is available in the guest lounge. Freshly prepared full English breakfast is served each morning. Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan diets can all be catered for at Kelston Guest House. This guest house is a 15-minute walk from Weymouth harbour and a 10-minute walk from the town centre, Sea Life Centre, Radipole Lake and Gardens. The Isle of Portland and Chesil Beach are around 10 -15 minutes’ drive away, and historic Dorchester is around 7 miles north of the town. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are approximately 16 miles away.

Hello, we are Karen and Martin. We are both born and bred Weymouth people and therefore we believe that we can offer our guests unique experiences, only known by local people. We love our home town and welcome guest's in to our home to enjoy the local area. We opened our guest house in 2007, with 2 small children, that are now teenagers. We enjoy coastal walking, all year. Martin is very creative with finding driftwood, seaglass and shells from the beach and making them in to wonderful pieces of art. As the beach is just seconds from our home, the art embraces are natural surroundings of where we live. For us to help our guests, we like to try local restaurants that we can recommend as with paid for attractions. However, being local to Weymouth, we can recommend and suggest to our guests, many fantastic places to visit and locations to explore, for free. Martin is a keen bird watcher, our eldest daughter is a gig rower and often spots dolphins in the bay to report back to guests. Karen and our youngest daughter like to bake, which we often share with our guests.

Welcome to Kelston House, grade II listed, built in 1860 with beautiful Victoria features lovingly restored. Every year, we ensure all our rooms and facilities are decorated and maintained to the highest of standards we can provided. Martin over the years has decorated our guest house with his unique and beautiful driftwood art, for guests to enjoy. Kelston Guest House is our family home that we open up to our guests to enjoy our home town.

Weymouth is in the heart of the Jurassic Coast and it's diverse coastline. An award winning beach, picturesque harbour and world class sailing waters, makes Weymouth a favourite holidaying spot. Portland, most famous for it's stone, is just 7 miles away. So much to see and do! The old railway walk, The D-Day Centre, Tout's Quarry Nature Reserve, Portland Bill and Church Ope Cove, famous for being a smugglers beach. Chesil Cove, forming the south east end of 18 miles Chesil Beach. We are located ideally for making the most of the popular South West Coastal Path but we can show you many more less common walks to explore the countryside without the crowds. Again only 7 miles from Dorchester, the County town, with fantastic Roman history and the home of author Thomas Hardy. Ideally located, 10-15 minutes stroll to the town centre and harbour. Nearby, within walking distance, we have one of the largest Sea Life Centres in the UK and Nothe Fort. We are only a 15 minute drive to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Tank Musuem, Monkey World and Abbotsbury with it's attractions. Within a 30-40 minutes drive you can reach, West Bay (Broadchurch) and Lyme Regis for fossil hunting.

    We have no on-site parking facilities at the guest house. However, we do have various free parking options available for our guests in nearby locations. All our FREE parking will be 200-700 metres from our guest house., in either private spaces or a permit for a public car park. Parking is at your own risk and must be reserved at time of booking as a special request. Your parking will be allocated on check in. If no reservation is made by the guest, we cannot guarantee free parking will be available on check in for you. Pay and display options are available at guests own responsibility at Weymouth Train Station and The Swannery Car Park. Maximum one free parking option per room.
