The Hen House lodge is located within a private rural 10 acre site, located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Hastings is 5 km away, while Rye is 17 km from the property. Battle is a 20-minute drive away. The self-catering, detached lodge offers a king-size bed together with a shower room and toilet. In addition, in the open-plan lounge/kitchen there is a double sofa bed. There is also a small covered outdoor seating area. A small food starter pack is supplied. Hiking is a popular local activity. The property is close to a public footpath which enables walks to Fairlight Country Park, Winchelsea, the 1066 Country Walk or to the local pub. Three Oaks train station is 20 minutes' walk away, while White Rock Theatre is 5 km away. The nearest airport is London Gatwick Airport, 62 km from the property.
