Hazeldene Guest House is ideally located in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere and offers free private parking. The accommodation is just 10 minutes’ walk from the shores of Lake Windermere. Access to all areas of the guest house is via steps/stairs. The property offers 5 en suite rooms. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with Freeview, complimentary toiletries and hospitality trays. Hazeldene Guest House is a period building with traditional charm, and offers a full English breakfast menu or vegetarian option in the breakfast room. A choice of tea or coffee as well as a selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt are also available. Guests can enjoy guided tours, museums, historic houses, The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, hiking and water sports in the vicinity. Guests can also board steamers at Lake Windermere to take a trip around the lake. Hazeldene Guest House is close to a vast selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and a cinema. Windermere Rail Station and town centre are just over a mile away.

We are conveniently located on Lake Road which is the main road connecting Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere. Bowness-on-Windermere is a busy location for much of the year and all it's attractions and amenities are just a short walk from Hazeldene. Our guest house has 5 en-suite rooms for you to choose from and we have private parking spaces available to guests included in the room price. Our parking spaces are away from the street, but we can also offer garage parking for motorcycles if required, on request.
Steve and Samantha have spent many years looking after and catering for guests on board sailing yachts and now look forward to offering the same quality service at Hazeldene Guest House – without having to eat at a 45 degree angle in blowing winds !
A 10 minute stroll brings you to lake Windermere shore where steamers can take you on trips around England's largest lake and one of the Lake District's most popular visitor destinations. Guided tours, museums, historic houses, the Beatrix Potter Experience, hiking, off road experiences, water sports, spa and leisure facilities are all available locally. With an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and a cinema right on the doorstep, you can leave the car at the guest house, relax and enjoy the atmosphere and the town's delightful setting.
