Situated in the heart of Chester, the Grosvenor Place Guest House offers free WiFi. Within the city walls, this Georgian townhouse is just a 10-minute walk from Chester Racecourse. Each room has been lovingly restored to combine period charm and modern comforts. All rooms include a flat-screen LED TV, as well as tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits. The en-suite bath or shower rooms have complimentary toiletries. You will also find a work desk in your room. A variety of pubs and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute stroll. Chester Roman Amphitheatre is just a 5-minute walk from Grosvenor Place Guest House. Boat trips along the River Dee can also be enjoyed in Chester, along with strolls along the city walls.

Grosvenor Place guest house is a warm and friendly Georgian Town house that has been restored to offer accommodation over three floors in a historic building but with all of the modern comforts, including complementary high speed Wi-Fi, multichannel TV and en suite bathroom facilities. We are located in a cobbled side street, right in the heart of the City of Chester only a stone's throw from the racecourse. The shopping area is just 2 minutes walk away so are the many restaurants and bars. A quality Guest House offering a personal service, useful advice and local knowledge in a homely, relaxed atmosphere. Our beds have deep comfy mattresses and we use only quality cotton sheets. All our rooms are en suite and are double or triple glazed. You can come and go as you please as you have 24 access to the Guest House. All we ask of our guests is that if the come back late they enter quietly to respect other guests' peace and quiet. Chester is a fantastic city steeped in history and culture. You can view and walk the City walls or visit Britain’s oldest amphitheatre or just pop next door to the Grosvenor Museum. Why not stroll along the River Dee or take a boat? Chester has a w...
As the Guest House only has 6 rooms the guests themselves help to create the atmosphere. Often conversations will spring up between guests during there time here and for guests staying more than one night this builds with every day. This is especially the case with our regular racegoers. We are NOT a party location. We do not permit multi room bookings for hen or stag nights. Our guests deserve their peace, quiet and privacy. There is a lot of talk these days about old fashioned values of customer service, however in most large establishments this is simply the 'have a nice day' culture. We genuinely try to accomodate all of our guests wishes whether that be reserving a table at a restaurant or ensuring there is a chilled bottle of champagne in their room on arrival. If we can do it we do. There's no 'ill have to ask the manager' at Grosvenor Place. Our staff try to think of customers' needs before even the customer themselves are aware of them! We like to think of ourselves like a duck swimming against the tide on a river. A picture of serenity on the surface but with the legs beating wildly beneath the surface.
Grosvenor Place is located in the very centre of Chester where an abundance of traditional inns and restaurants cater for every taste.
