Wendy was a gracious host, she met us at the apartment and explained everything that we needed to know about our stay. The apartment is even better than the pictures, clean, spacious and extremely close to all the main attractions at the Old Town. Grassmarket square is 2 minutes down the road, there is a super market up the corner that stays open until 11 at night and the Airlink 100 bus stop is a 10, maybe 15 minutes walk (uphill at first but that is the beauty and charm of the Old Town).We will definetely be looking to stay again there the next time we visit Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Old Town Apartment is a self-catering accommodation located in Edinburgh. Free WiFi access is available and the property is less than a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. Located on the third floor, the apartment has a lounge area with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave and a dining area. The bathroom offers a bath and a shower. You can enjoy views of the castle from the lounge. At Edinburgh Old Town Apartment you will find a private garden. Cordiner's Land, where the apartment is located, is on the site of the Old Shoemakers of Edinburgh's workshops. If you feel like visiting the surroundings, there is a large selection of bars, pubs and restaurants within a 15-minute walk and Haymarket Railway Station is a 6-minute drive away. Due to family circumstances we are unable to offer check-in after 10.00pm. This property is located on the third floor and does not have an elevator.

    「Terrific location. Go left and theres a Sainsbury & go right and you get plenty of cafes and bars.. Loved the whole set up of the apartment however please note that there are no elevators in the building so just bear that in mind.」

Our flat is in Cordiner's Land, within the World Heritage site of Edinburgh's Old Town. It can sleep up to 4 people, 2 in the bedroom and 2 on the sofa-bed in the living area. There is a view of the Castle from the living-room and it is a 2 minute walk from a Sainsbury’s local which has a good selection of grocery goods. The flat is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The bathroom and kitchen were refitted in 2016.
Wendy looks after the apartment and volunteers with local charities. Wendy enjoys singing and sings in a Championship Ladies Barbershop chorus in Edinburgh.
The apartment is situated in the Heart of the Old Town, near to the Grassmarket which has a great selection of bars & restaurants. Close by are various cafes serving meals from breakfast and throughout the day. One of our favourites is L’Etoile which has a French feel with delicious patisserie.Love-crumbs is a lovely coffee shop with great cakes & Mary's Milk bar has an amazing selection of locally made Ice Creams.
