Whether you're into hiking, biking, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll, Ambleside provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor exploration. Try one of the many watersports on offer including kayaking, paddle boarding or hiring a row boat. The village has a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants for the days you don’t want to explore the fells or cook at home. Windermere, Grasmere and Keswick are all easily reached by car or bus and leisurely cruises can be enjoyed on Lake Windermere. Within a short walk of the centre of Ambleside, Cosy Cottage is a traditional Lakeland cottage furnished and equipped to a high standard. Unwind is the open plan living area with comfy seating around a warming wood burning stove and Smart TV, rustle up a feast in the well equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family or 2 couples, the master bedroom with en-suite shower room can convert to twin beds on request. The cottage is laid out over three floors, has gas central heating and comprises. Lounge with wood burning stove, Smart TV and DAB radio. The kitchen has a breakfast bar for dining and is equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. First floor: Double bedroom with king size bed and window seat with views to Loughrigg Fell. Family bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and WC. Second floor: Characterful bedroom suite with king size bed (this can be converted to twin beds on request) and en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC. All gas, electric, bed linen and towels provided. Cot and high chair available. Wi-Fi available. Parking permit for nearby car park provided.

Within a short walk of Ambleside town centre. The villages of Grasmere, Keswick, Windermere and Kendal can be easily reached by car or public transport.
