Carradales is a traditionally built Victorian detached house, originally built as a Church of Scotland Manse in 1880. Completely refurbished, Carradales offers luxury guesthouse accommodation. It is officially graded by Visit Scotland as 5 Stars and is "Taste Our Best" Accredited Guests can also enjoy the roaring fire from the Victorian Fireplace in the beautiful lounge and log burner in the dining room. We are surrounded by open countryside, forests, hills and the sea is a 10 minute walk away. This area is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. It is perfect for walkers as there are numerous forest walks and we are also on the famous Kintyre Way. It is great for cyclists and is on the Caledonia Way, perfect for bikers - we are on the picturesque Argyll 190 route. For golfers there is a real gem of a golf course only 5 minutes away called Carradale Golf Course which is 9 holes and has breathtaking views of the Isle of Arran. The award winning Machrihanish Dunes Golf Course is 30 minutes away. For Whisky enthusiasts there is the famous Springbank, Glen Scotia and Glengyle Distilleries only 20 minutes away in Campbeltown which was once the whisky capitol of the world. 10 minutes away we have Torrisdale Estate from which the renowned award winning Kintyre Gin is made and we can arrange tours to all of these places. Saddell Castle is 10 minutes away from where the famous "Mull of Kintyre"song and music video by Paul McCartney was filmed. On the beach is the famous Antony Gormley Sculpture looking out to sea. Nearby is Saddell Abbey.
