Bedrooms constantly get refurbished and upgraded. At the Captain's Quarters Guest House we have 8 en suite bedrooms. They are not massive rooms but spacious enough to walk around the bed. We offer room only, however we provide a fully fitted residents' kitchen for our guests to use, which has complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar. All rooms have wifi and large flat screen televisions. Residents' Lounge and a ground floor bedroom is also available.
I have been in the Catering and Hospitality Industry since I was 14 years of age, now turned 52. I have a twin sister who also owns her own hotel in Lytham St Annes. My managerial and professional career is with Whitbreads PLC. My partner Rory is a Ships Captain and works looking after Irish Lighthouses and the Irish coastline. That is why we called the guesthouse this name. Though I'm the Captain of this ship!
We are centrally located right in the heart of Southport, situated between the Promenade and Lord Street. Shops, Cafes and Restaurants are in abundance as is the train station, buses and all attractions. The town hall and Atkinson Centre are 5 minute walk. The Flower show is a short stroll away. The Cinema, the Casino, the Southport Convention Centre are all on our doorstep. We are totally spoilt living in this great location. Southport is a best kept secret is is just such a lovely place to be. I am blessed!
