Set in the open fields of Baldastard Farm, The Brick House was built in 1900, as part of the old Baldastard Colliery. It was destined to be the mine manager's cottage; but with the demise of the mine, no manager was required. The house was then transferred over to the farm, where it stayed until twenty years ago, when it became our family home and now a small (homely) B&B. Guests will enjoy a comfortable double room, and will have full access to their own private lounge, with a television.

With stunning views over rolling farmland, towards Largo Law and out over the Firth of Forth, The Brick House offers guests a peaceful setting in which to relax. Be aware, the B&B is located down a dirt track, approx. half a mile long! Situated approximately 12 miles from St. Andrews, our accommodation affords easy access to “The home of golf” and also to a large number of East Neuk links courses, from Lundin Links to the prestigious Kingsbarns. Edinburgh is easily accessible to the South either by road or train, from Leuchars Station which is 12 miles away. Dundee, “The City of Discovery” is approx. 25 miles to the North.
