We were looked after really well and could have a good breakfast even though we were in the self contained unit. The location was excellent for getting about and we even made it to Skye.

Situated in the middle of the scenic village of Invermoriston, family-run Bracarina House Bed & Breakfast & Caledonian Studio sits right on the path of the Great Glen Way, one of Scotland's National Long Distance Walking Routes. Local attractions include Invermoriston Falls (5 miles), Urquhart Castle (9 miles) and Loch Ness Centre and Exhibition (11 miles). The property also provides free private parking on site. The Glenmoriston Arms Hotel is situated right next to Bracarina House Bed & Breakfast & Caledonian Studio, where meals, tea, coffee and alcohol beverages are served all day in the restaurant or the bar. It is advisable to book the restaurant for an evening meal. Plodda Falls, Nessieland and Abriachan Trails can all be found within 14 miles of the property.

Bracarina House is set in the middle of the lovely village of Invermoriston which nestles between Loch Ness and The Great Glen Way. It is a peaceful location with beautiful scenery and is ideal for walkers and tourist alike. The main house has four bed and breakfast rooms. All rooms have an en-suite shower room, hospitality tray, flatscreen TV and Wi-Fi. We also offer a drying and boot room together with safe storage for bikes and motorbikes. The Caledonian Studio offers self catering for two people and is dog friendly. Dogs should bring their own beds and be accompanied by well behaved owners! Please note that we do not accept dogs in the main house.

Located conveniently just 6 miles from Fort Augustus and 26 miles from the Capital of the Highlands, Inverness, you will be in easy reach of all the Highlands has to offer. The village's main industry c1600, like so many Highland villages in the area, was forestry, and places of interest in the village include St Columba’s Well, Telfords Bridge and the Falls of Invermoriston
