The cottage was immaculately clean and well kept! Lovely, peaceful village location. Complimentary freshly baked scones on arrival was a real treat! The lady who owns the cottage goes above and beyond to make it the perfect getaway! Highly recommend!

The cottage is in a beautiful location and the cottage itself is fantastically maintained with everything in it that you could possibly wish for (and more) Amenities are very close by. The village pub and shop are within 50 yards. Roadside parking is available outside the cottage but we preferred to park in the Village Hall Car Park just below the cottage.

Cosy, warm and spotlessly clean cottage. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The cottage contained everything we needed and was close to beautiful walks and a great local community pub.

The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was spacious and bright. The dining/kitchen had everything you needed to prepare, cook and enjoy your home cooked food or prepare a picnic. The lounge was lovely and cosy and prefect to relax in after a busy day. The bathroom was ideal, presented with a wide long bath and a shower which was easily adjustable in height. A special touch, Thank you for all the treats on arrival, homemade bread, crisps, cookies, teabags, shortbread, jams, milk and a thank you heart gift.

I’m a clean freak and take cleaning products with me wherever I go. Didn’t need them at all. Not only was it exceptionally clean, there was a boat load of cleaning products to use, some dish wash tablets, wash liquid pods and softener. Beautiful cottage, comfortable, home from home. Lovely bathroom with big bath and over bath shower. Provided with , individually wrapped tooth brushes, slippers, toiletries. They seriously thought of everything. Beautiful spacious bedroom and comfortable bed. Kitchen has everything that you could possibly need. Sweet little table in the corner , all set up with tea cups , teapot and side plates, all ready for breakfast. Special little hand made gift left on there too. Hosts were very accommodating, very friendly and just all round lovely people. Thank you Vicky and Matt.
