The peace and tranquility of the cottage and surrounding countryside is exceptional. We arrived late in the evening but was greeted with a cosy warm atmosphere with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam awaiting us. Even a bottle of milk for tea in the morning. It was so enjoyed and appreciated by us all after a five hour drive. We stayed as a family of six, grandparents, and parents with two small boys aged 5 and 7, they were so looked after by Dave and treated as family. Dave taught them how to feed the tiny lambs and collect the eggs from the chickens, they certainly had a memorable time. It was chilly at night time but Dave stocked our logs for cosy nights in front of the log fire. Blissful.. We visited many coastal places recommended to us by Claire and gave us lots of helpful tips. Tintagel Castle, Boscastle, Bude were just a few. Lots of places to visit, just ran out of time. Will definitely revisit this beautiful place in the near future.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, schöne Ferienwohnung mit eigenem eingezäunten Garten, tierfreundlich (Hund) in einem alten Cottage... Nur wenn man mal ausgiebig spazieren gehen möchte muss man erst ins Auto steigen, obwohl das Cottage mitten in schöner Landschaft liegt... da von Zäunen und Feldsteinmauern umgeben... ansonsten toll... Wir (Familie 5 Personen mit Hund) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.... Kommen gerne wieder...
