Lovingly restored terraced house located on a quiet residential street. This newly renovated home is less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of Falmouth and less than 15 minutes walk to the famous Gyllyngvase Beach. We've only just renovated and decorated this beautiful old Victorian Terraced Home, so everything in it brand new (apart from a few vintage items here and there!). Most of the furniture is new, the kitchen is new, the bathrooms are all new. On the ground floor, there is lovely sitting room with a new 40" Smart TV (with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video). There's a new kitchen / dining room with an enormous table, leading through to the garden. There's also a handy double room with a nice big sash window out to the back yard, and a second bathroom with a shower and loo. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and bathroom at the front of the house, a twin room looking out over the back yard and a large family bedroom at the back.

I live in London with my wife and 2 daughters (aged 6 and 3). Right now, in addition to hosting our 2 properties in Cornwall I am a stay at home dad. I have a close connection to Cornwall, where I was born and lived as a young child. Both areas are great, and I can't recommend them highly enough as places to visit (not that I'm biased!). Me and my family regularly stay at the house in Falmouth, which I hope gives me bit of an edge in terms of making my places as homely as possible, and providing all the stuff that people really need in a home (like sharp knives and a good selection of pots and pans), that I've always found are often lacking in holiday homes!

Whether you enjoy passing the time in trendy cafes and restaurants, taking in exhibitions and galleries, lying on the beach, or just want to stay in a prime central Cornwall location with easy access to this whole amazing county, this is the place for you. It's right on the coast, so we have some great beaches and loads of fun things to do on the water. Just a 10 minute walk from the house you can hire a boat and take yourself on a tour of the 3rd biggest (but first prettiest) natural harbour in the world, taking in St Mawes (the San Tropez of Cornwall) and the stunning Carrick Roads, past the beautiful Trelissick Gardens, all the way to Truro. Falmouth has a real edge and vibrancy, thanks, in part, to the predominately arts based University and large student population. Staying here you get everything that's great about Cornwall, but you also get a truly unique cultural experience. You can enjoy some amazing cafes, galleries, restaurants and pubs. Falmouth really is a great place. It's still something of a hidden gem and a far cry from tired old clichéd north coast towns like St Ives and Padstow.
