Situated within a quiet residential area of Torquay, Barclay Court Guest House is a late 19th-century building which retains many original features. The harbour and seafront are a 15-minute stroll from the property, while the shopping centre is just 5 minutes on foot. Free on-site parking is also provided. Rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can relax with a book in the south-facing gardens with terraces. Torbay has 22 miles of coastline with over 20 beaches offering a variety of water sports activities. Guests can also explore the South Devon Coastal Path. Barclay Court Guest House is a late 19th Century building and still retains many of its original features but with all the expected modern facilities. We have on site parking as well as unrestricted street parking. (secure parking for bikes). We are only a five minute walk down to the shopping centre and a fifteen minute stroll down one of Torquay's many hills to the harbour and sea front. The guest house is situated within a quiet residential area with easy access to all the amenities. If you just want to relax with a book or just take in the sun there is a south-facing garden with terraces. Or stroll down to the harbour for a wide choice of restaurants, various amenities and attractions that Torquay has to offer. Barclay Court Guest House in Torquay offers the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding areas. There are many miles of beautiful countryside in South Devon with its lovely scenery and pretty villages. You can walk along the South Devon Coastal Path or explore Dartmoor. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are within easy reach as well as the beautiful and historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes.
