We have a very cosy and charming cottage set in rural surroundings but only a 5 min drive to the City of Derry itself. The fantastic location allows you easy access to Northern Irelands many wonderful sights and scenic tours (approx 1 hr from the Antrim coast and Gaints Causeway ) as well as the most spectacular surroundings of Donegal, considered by some as the most beautiful county in Ireland. The cottage has recently been renovated which retains its charm but has all the modern facilities you'd expect to find in todays market. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and fantastic walks that allow you to view the Donegal mountains and yet 2 mins from the nearest shopping center with a variety of take-out restaurants, cafe, grocery shop, hairdressers etc. You will find the neighbours around very friendly and always obliging if needed. We provide tea/coffee and basic essentials to get you started but the shops are only mins away. We pride ourselves on the home away from home feel and are confident you will find it a unique and welcoming space to spend your holiday in...welcome to Ireland. We only book a minimum stay of 7 nights consecutive during the Christmas period. Minimum of 5 nights consecutive at Easter and Halloween. At summer time (June, July and August)it is minimum of 3 nights conservatively and at all other times it is 2 night minimum conservative stay.
