Great location, clean and comfortable. Fantastic shower! All amenities catered for, including a washing machine and dishwasher. We were very kindly left a complementary box of very lovely biscuits too. We will definitely be back. Close to the ferry port and 2 minutes walk from where our Eldest Son lives. Really enjoyed our stay.

Welcoming, comfortable, convenient, well equipped and presented. Anchor Cottage is adjacent to the chain ferry linking with the sailing town of Cowes.Stunning balcony views over The Solent and River Medina are perfect for watching the vibrant maritime scene. The cottage is located right by the river so you can relax in this coastal setting and enjoy the constant marine activity with fantastic views over the passing yachts from either balcony.
The cottage includes one double bedroom, one small bunk-bed room, lounge/diner with views over the river, kitchen and one bathroom. There is also one designated off road parking space for an average sized vehicle. No camper vans or pickups.
Hop on the chain ferry next door to be in the famous sailing town of Cowes in moments where you can enjoy the extensive range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Light sleepers may be aware of the chain ferry as it docks. It operates from early morning until midnight.
This is a perfect base for your Isle of Wight holiday. Close to Waitrose and Co-op stores for food and domestic supplies. Plenty of good local eateries if you prefer to eat out.

The Isle of Wight is a wonderful place and as you step off the ferry you feel a sense of stepping back in time. You can leave behind the bustle and pace of the Mainland and enjoy Island life.
