Everything we needed was at the accomodation PLUS extra little touches like tea, coffee, sugar, milk and butter. Treats like cake and biscuits were a lovely touch. The site is peaceful and exactly as described and just what we needed for a relaxing break.

Our self catering lodge is set in Haveringland Hall Country Park, Norwich, Norfolk which consists of 150 acres. We face directly onto the lake, there is a residential heron which often flies up and down and sits in the tree opposite or can be seen in the water catching fish. It is a beautiful setting for a peaceful break with two fishing lakes, one is 10 acres, there are many walks around the grounds, including a large forest. Please note the lake is not a professional fishery for serious fishing. The location is ideal for walking, bird watching and cycling with a recent estimate of 99 different birds sighted on the site. It is 11 .2 miles north of Norwich City centre, a great location for exploring Norfolk - the new Norwich Northern Distributor Road is excellent for getting to Norwich or the east of the county and much quicker than navigating the Norwich ring road. We hope you would have everything you need for your stay including oven/hob Microwave fridge/freezer Dishwasher Kettle Toaster Cafetiere Tea towels Cooking and dining utensils Crockery Pots and pans a TV with integral Freeview, DVD player and memory slot. There are a selection of DVD'S, games and books.
We hope that our guests will have everything they need for their much earned holiday. We are extremely flexible about checking in and out, if there are no incoming or outgoing guests we offer no set time to give our guests full benefit of their time at our lodge.
6 miles away is Aylsham, a lovely market town. Not to be missed is Biddy's tea room in Aylsham where you can find the most amazing cakes. There is a well stocked supermarket 2.2 miles away in Cawston Norwich City centre is just over 11 miles away. Norwich is a beautiful Medieval city with a famous castle and cathedral, it's perfect for a leisurely wander or shopping with two shopping malls and many pedestrianised streets. Also, not far away, is the wonderful north Norfolk coast and the Norfolk Broads. Tripadvisor is a good source of exciting things to do and see in Norfolk.
