We have a very popular pub, The Fox Goes Free, 5 minutes walk from the property, that provides fine ales and excellent food, with a beautiful beer garden with exceptional view of the South Downs. We are a stone’s throw from the famous Goodwood Estate, which provides various events throughout the summer from horse racing to motor sports. Being situated in the South Downs National Park, we are privileged to explore the wonderful tracks and trails a haven for picnics, running, walking and cycling. In Spring you will be treated to carpets of bluebells just a few minutes away. West Wittering beach with its spectacular sand dunes is only 11 miles away. Charlton is 17th century hamlet where Dukes use to come and hunt in bygone eras, things have changed but Charlton hasn't. We opened our doors in 2010 and we relish the relaxing atmosphere of our surroundings. We have 2 Labradors that live with us and do welcome pets but we do need advanced notice.
