2 Dolwen Farm Shop is a former farm building converted into a delightful cottage on the yard of a working farm, whose farm shop is well known in the area. This is in a pretty rural location with lovely views from the grounds over the surrounding countryside. Dolwen is 3 miles from Colwyn Bay, 6 miles from Conwy and Llandudno and about 10 miles from the Snowdonia National Park. This pretty barn conversion has an open-plan living/dining room and kitchen with large arched doors leading to the front patio. This well planned room includes a leather sofa and chairs, TV/DVD/Freeview, WiFi and a handmade kitchen with a traditional Belfast style sink. A shared utility room (with WAG501) houses the tumble dryer, washing machine and freezer. On the first floor is a beamed double bedroom and a modern shower room. Gas central heating off the owners' system. Guests have use of the owners' lovely garden, accross the yard,with a pond (not fenced in) and seating areas. A welcome pack with eggs and bacon from the farm is included!

This property is a great base from which to relax and enjoy the surroundings or to explore the attractions of the local area. Colwyn Bay has a beach, watersports centre and the popular Mountain Zoo. The walled town of Conwy has lots of cafes, local breweries, pubs and independent shops, whilst Llandudno has a magnificent promenade, a tramway and cable car leading up to the summit of the Great Orme, also an artificial ski slope and toboggan run! Inland is the National Trust's Bodnant Garden, Bodnant Welsh Food centre and the mountains of Snowdonia.
