Historical centre, the Vieux Lille area has been entirely renovated these last two decades. Its' typical paved streets offer you an ideal setting for lovely "promenades" (avoid high heels ;) ... The Vieux Lille has become the fancy area. You will find unique shops, art galleries, artisan bakeries, trendy bars and restaurants. The flat is also located at less than 10 minutes walk from the city park "Citadelle Vauban", which is best known for it's free Zoo, its secular trees and wide grass spaces on the riverside of the "Deule". You can go there for a breath of fresh air or a jogging.
