Amazing accomodation, one of our all times favorite. The host is really nice, and you can feel the passion and attention to details that went into creating this accommodation. The house is cosy and has a marine feeling, respecting the history of the house (former fisherman house). The view from the front of the house is absolutely beautiful and can be enjoyed also from the front terrace and a small room at the end of the house. Books and board games are available, which came in handy for us as we were traveling with our children. The accommodation also has a website with recommendations of activities in the area. We’ve did most of them and we had a wonderful vacation. Finally, we’ve visited by car, but the accomodation is few minutes away from the railway station so easy accesible by train which will take you in about 30 minute to Nantes or Angers.

The cottage Un Brin de loire (a strand of Loire) is nestled in the small fishing village of the Meilleraie. A place apart, away from noise and traffic. Here, the Loire is omnipresent. She's right there in front of you. All along, and with the beautiful presence of the wood, the gîte is inspired by the typical boats of the banks of the Loire. The main room, the Winter lounge and all the rooms has a direct or transverse view of the Royal River enshrined in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, with its 2 terraces (double exhibition), its breakfast area in the shade and its enclosed garden, it is a gîte where it is good to live in-out!
I work in a consulting firm where concentration and attention of all moments are indispensable. This extremely relaxing place is therefore for me a kind of enchanted parenthesis. The calm, the direct presence with the Loire. It is no coincidence that I am I fell under the spell of this village of the Meilleraie 10 years ago. I love this river so alive. Birds in the early morning that frolic for their first catches, oxen that drink, a boat that passes, strollers in the long run that take the course of the Loire by bike. Also, for your stay to be successful, I offer adult bikes and children to discover the banks of the Loire. Games of companies, books, comics and tourist guides are also at your disposal. The gîte was completely renovated in 2017. You will find all the necessary comforts as well as at home. The pleasure of welcoming you very soon to the strand of the Loire.
The cottage un Brin de Loire is located in a small fishing village on the banks of the Loire. It is a quiet and peaceful place, ideal for resting and taking time. At 50 meters is an excellent restaurant "La Closerie des Roses " enrolled in the Bib Gourmand Michelin. A bar-restaurant and a pizzeria are also 400 metres from the gîte. The place is enchanting and you can make beautiful walks on foot, by bike or on horseback (equestrian centre of the Loire Valley (44370 Varades) within 2 minutes of the gite). Cruises on the Royal River are also offered. Ideally located, many tourist activities are to be discovered in the surroundings: Wednesdays at the Château de Vair, visit of the castle of squeezing, zoo of the Golden Boissière, Park of kangaroos, Accrobranche, castles of Nantes and Angers ... No doubt you will find your happiness! In addition, the Puy du Fou (Prize for Best World Park), the giant elephant of the Machines of the island (Nantes) or the eastern Park of Maulévrier (the largest in Europe) are about 1 H 00 from the Gîte one strand of Loire.
