The Studio's advantages are that it is self contained, you can park or sit outside and it is very convenient for the town and also to explore the Limousin area west of Limoges and the Plateau de Millevaches leading towards the Auvergne. The studio was created relatively recently within the old building, it is well insulated and heated by electricity. Ever since buying the place I have been trying to find out what it was used for previously, but no success to-date. Perhaps you can help?

I am on the point of retirement and looking forward to doing some fishing and exploring France with my wife Jenny in our campervan. I recently started keeping bees and have 2 hives in the attic above the studio, the bees had a good year this year so that I have been able to offer some of their honey to people who have breakfast or wish to take some away with them.

Eymoutiers was a medieval tanning town, hence my outfit for the Ostentions which happen every 7 years, 2016 being the most recent. You would struggle to accomplish all the activities on offer and visit Aubusson, The Plateau de Millevaches and Limoges in less than a week so there is lots to do and see, plus 6 markets a month and numerous boot sales (vide greniers) in summer. Enjoy the local restaurants or go to events with communal meals which offer both good food and entertainment.
