The location was great. Kitchen great, washing machine, iron, clothes line, even small things all thought about. Huge living area with high ceilings. WiFi very good. Host Lesa really nice, recommended restaurants and booked us taxi for airport.

NEWLY REFURBISHED Retaining loads of original features and sympathetically refurbished to offer spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation with all the French rustic charm of a period building situated in the best part of the Renaissance Bastide. Close to all amenities and 10 minute walk from the stunning Medieval Cité. This is a very spacious first floor Apartment - stylish living area with leather sofas and bright large french windows, fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave/combi oven, washing machine; bathroom with shower over the bath and 2 double bedrooms. Very large Master Bedroom with King Size Divan, period features, large french windows and plenty of storage. The second bedroom comprises a double bed and mezzanine area with three quarter bed. The Apartment sleeps 4 but can accommodate extra adult or 2 children if required please ask for additional charges and check this is possible before booking. There is also a communal outside courtyard area on the ground floor and a table and chairs is available if you would like to sit outside. A great place to have a glass of wine after a busy day. PLEASE NOTE COMMUNAL AREAS ARE CURRENTLY BEING REDECORATED.
Welcome to Residence Chartran my first floor Apartment located in the heart of the Bastide area of Carcassonne. The Apartment has recently had a refurbished kitchen (2019) and all new appliances. The Apartment is located in the heart of the Bastide very close to all amenities but on a quiet residential road. Very central location within a few minutes’ walk from the Halles, the Markets, the theatre, Bars, shops delicatessens and restaurants and is a 10 minute walk from the stunning Medieval Cité whilst situated in the best part of the Renaissance Bastide. Carcassonne airport is only 10 mins away from the apartment, with the airport bus stop at the end of the street at 'la dome' and close to the train station (SNCF). Parking of all varieties is easily available nearby. Carcassonne has lots to offer and is situated on the Canal de Midi, a car is not necessary but the Apartment is ideally suited to explore this beautiful area of Southern France. Lots of Parking options, free, paid and on street parking all very close by. Further details can be provided.
