The apartment for 4 people and the studio for 2 are located first floor of house built during the 30’s located first floor. Jean the owner lives ground floor . The house was all renewed in the spirit of the original feature. The idea was to recreate an art deco atmosphere with some industrial elements such as glass, metal, copper and wood. The place is warm with large windows letting the sun entering widely. The main bedroom has a balcony facing the garden where you can have your breakfast for 2. The garden has also been reviewed. Several sort of flowers and trees have been laid out. On the large terrace you may use a gas weber BQ and enjoyed the sun or be in the shade of a large umbrella or under the pergola (covered with passionflowers).

Jean Guibaud ( L’Oustalet d’Aix owner) will be happy to welcome you. He is now retired and opened l’Oustalet for its pleasure to meet people and to do its best to satisfy them. Previously he has been an air traffic controller in the French civil aviation, next he has been at the head of Marseille airport tower and he finishes its carrier at the EC in Brussels, looking into Civil Aviation legislation. From may 2019, Jean will be able to propose some local Provence meal and breakfast. From may 2019, on specific order, Jean will be able to propose local Provence meal and breakfast. A book will be at disposal to allow hosts to choose which kind of meal they wishes. Every dish will be made with local products.

L'Oustalet d'Aix is located 800m from Aix en Provence centre. So cars are not at all to be used to visit the town. A private out door swimming pool with umbrella and meridienne can be used. This pool is located 2000m from l'Oustalet , a free car park is available just in front the swimming pool ( entry price around 12 euros/day/person) .
