A bit of info about our place... A "Venelle" is a tiny street between buildings where only pedestrians can go. Taking one of Honfleur's old venelles will make you feel like an explorer while helping you discover hidden architectural jewels of this uniquely preserved Normand treasure that Honfleur has remained. We are located in the "Venelle du Bassin" which speaks for itself as for how centrally located our place is, not only just 2mn away from the "Vieux Bassin" (Old Harbour), but our little haven is also as quiet as it gets. All our tastefully decorated apartments were recently renovated, each with their own theme (thanks to our in-house multi-talented artist). They will undoubtedly provide you a needed homely feeling once back from your explorations and we are confident your accommodation will remain part of unforgettable memories you will keep from your cosy stay in our beloved Honfleur. Each of our independent apartments is independent and features: - a kitchen equipped with everything needed (kettle, coffee machine, toaster, hotplate, fridge, microwave, dishware, cutlery, etc... - a private bathroom (shower, sink, WC) - a flat screen TV (digital channels)

... A tiny bit about us... We are passionate about our lovely Normandy, its beauty, architecture, heritage at large... and yes cheese, cider, tarte normande, Teurgoule and Calvados, among many other delicacies you shall discover during your stay. We are also in love with Honfleur and our property (erected in 1839) which we fully renovated in late 2017 with the intention to welcome you, hopefully many times in the future. So we look very much forward to having you spend valuable time at La Venelle du Bassin.

And a few tips on our lovely Sainte-Catherine neighbourhood … La Venelle du Bassin is at a 2mn slooow-pace walk away from the famous Lieutenance and Old Harbour (“Vieux Bassin”), and it won’t take you any longer to reach the splendid and unique Sainte-Catherine Church, if taking the right Venelle ;) Your Honfleur-home is ideally located between museums (Eugene Boudin [130m/2mn], Maison Erik Satie [160m/2mn], Museum of Ethnography [400m/5mn]etc...), other major landmarks (eg. Greniers a sel [400m/5mn], art galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes. Enjoy a very pleasant stay, fall in love with Honfleur, and hopefully come back visit us again soon.
