A haven of peace and tranquility is assured in our lovely B&B on the outskirts of the village of Tourbes. After we bought the house, we carried out a programme of works to create a stylish B&B decorated in a 'shabby chic' style. All bedrooms are positioned on the north side of the house so remain cool in summer and the pool and terrace face south and so enjoy lots of sunshine. We are within 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village with its restaurants, bar and shops, or a less than 5 minute drive into the historic town of Pezenas with its shops, bars and restaurants. We're also ideally located close: 20 minutes to the beach and the mountains and close to the autoroutes for exploring the beautiful Languedoc.
We moved to France in 2011 and after a busy life in the UK running a successful construction company and raising 3 children, we were looking for a slower, more relaxed way of life. Both sporty people, we are keen cyclists and skiers and also love walking and will happily share our knowledge and experiences of this beautiful area with guests in order to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.
Ideally located just a stone's throw from the historic town of Pezenas, our lovely village of Tourbes has two restaurants, a bar and several small shops. There is a weekly market on a Wednesday and many events organised throughout the year such as the annual fete in July, a jazz festival in August and bull-running in September.
