It is located on the 1st floor of a small condominium in the chic quartier des armateurs intra-muros. It features a bright living room with a fully-equipped modern kitchen. A sofa bed. A bedroom with a 160cm bed that can be split into 2 80cm beds. A modern, high-tech heating system. And a shower room with toilet. Transport If you choose to come by car, you can park nearby in the public pay car park. Nearby Bon secours beach, Porte St Pierre, with its seawater swimming pool and sailing club on the beach. At low tide, you can go to the Ile du Grand Bé, where Chateaubriand's tomb is located. All shops are within immediate walking distance of the flat. Places to visit La Demeure de Corsaire, Rue D'asfeld, next to the flat, a private mansion, part of which is open to visitors. Museums, the Cathedral, tour of the ramparts, guided tours available from the Tourist Office at Porte St Vincent, at the foot of the ramparts outside. From Place St Vincent you will find bus and coach departures to all areas of Saint-Malo as well as the little train for a commented historical tour of the town. Food Rue de l'Orme, also known as Rue Gourmande, is a great place to buy local produce: Butters and cheeses from chez Bordier, Babas de Saint-Malo, seasonal fruit and vegetables at Les 4 saisons, fresh fish at Guinemer fishmonger, as well as numerous restaurants, such as Breizh café, Cambusier, or down the street l'Absynthe. Restaurants and cafés On the Place Chateaubriand, you can enjoy excellent seafood at the Café de l'Ouest, the best burgers at the Lion d'or, a Sunday lunch at the Maison Générale for the pleasure of your taste buds and eyes (reservations recommended), and discover the friendly atmosphere of the Cargo Culte restaurant, with home cooking on the menu, tarts, salads, tartines, soups, in a brocante decor. La Duchesse Anne crêperie, a historic establishment not to be missed. In the evening, you can choose between a Celtic atmosphere at St Patrick's, or the festive atmosphere of the belle époque.
