Gite Madres sleeps a maximum of four, is one of two gites and a bed & breakfast, built in 1873, in the town of Prades. It has character and charm, with shared seasonal pool, set in beautiful gardens with pond, and has magnificent views of Mount Canigou and the Pyrenees. Just a 5 minute stroll to the centre of town.
We are an English couple who have been successfuly running the 2 gites and B&b business for 14 years. We love the area and we will do what we can to ensure you have a great stay.
Prades is a great base for the Eastern Pyrenees. One hour drive from the coast, one hour drive from skiing and a one hour drive from Spain. Situated with magnificent views of Mount Canigou, it is a great place for walking and cycling, for visting Abbeys, fortified towns, cathar castles, the Little Yellow Train, or just relaxing by the pool.
