Ferme du Ciel is an amazing chalet with all the facilities you can dream of - sauna & jacuzzi, beautiful fire place, professional kitchen, etc. The chalet was incredible clean, with an amazing location and views out over the valley. The owners Alex and Lucie were really welcoming and were always available to help us and answer any questions we had. We had a great stay, and will definitely be coming back!

Ferme du Ciel is a luxury alpine chalet and B&B situated in the quaint hamlet of rural Mathonex, situated on the heights of Samoëns in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps. Ferme du Ciel is a stunning architectural barn conversion, lovingly renovated from a 18th century farm. Central to the chalet is cathedral esque living areas with soaring panoramic windows that offers unparalleled, panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and, together with the striking 360 degree, suspended stone fireplace, creates a truly spectacular environment for relaxing. Ferme du Ciel has 6 luxurious rooms, complete with private ensuites, mountain views, and facilities such as a sauna, jacuzzi, BBQ, multiple terraces and a swimming pool. Ferme du Ciel is less than an hour from Geneva but miles away from reality; it is an easily accessible luxury alpine escape perfect for all travellers all year round. The chalet is a 10-minutes drive from the Grand Massif Express, and we offer a shuttle service to and from the slopes and the village. We are a young, multinational couple, with a passion for nature and the outdoors. We fell in love with Ferme du Ciel and Samoëns in particular and we enjoy bringing our passion for the area to our guests. We are happy to recommend all our favorite activities and places, so that you can have the holiday of your dreams. We know you will want to keep coming back!
Perched above the incredibly charming Samoëns village, Ferme du Ciel is a hidden gem found less than one hour from Geneva. The chalet is just 5 minutes drive away from both the Samoens village and Morillon, and the Telecabin ski-lifts for access to the Grand Massif Ski domain. While skiing and snowshoeing are the popular activities in the winter; for the rest of the year you can go Rockclimbing, Horseriding, White water rafting and Canyoning, or Mountain biking and paragliding. The Giffre valley is home to the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval national park with 750km of hiking trailing trailed, incredible blue lakes and imposing limestone cliffs. Samoens is an ancient yet lively town, full of history and with plenty of cute restaurants, fun bars, local craftshops, churches, a historic market, an alpine botanical garden, and many sports, cultural, musical and gastronomic public events throughout the year Discovering Samoëns, means to dive into a story, the one of a high place of Savoy, and a rich mountain life!
